Plano Balloon Festival

Celebrate 47 years of ballooning in Plano and Collin County at the H-E-B | Central Market Plano Balloon Festival, held September 17–20, 2026, at Oak Point Park / Red Tail Pavilion in Plano, Texas. This four-day nonprofit event brings together more than 30 vibrant hot-air balloons—including special-shaped balloons—for dawn launches and spectacular evening Balloon Glows, all weather permitting. Visitors can also enjoy live Main Stage entertainment, skydiving performances, fireworks, food and merchandise vendors, interactive Kids Fun Zone rides and crafts, and tethered balloon rides when available. Designed for all ages, the festival also supports local nonprofit organizations by helping them raise funds and awareness.
